The mission of the Greater Limestone County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors is to instill the positive aspects of the Chamber’s diverse business community to help promote member retention and continuous growth in our Chamber membership and the community as a whole.
Who are the Chamber Ambassadors?
Ambassadors are enthusiastic, outgoing professionals with diverse backgrounds who act as the liaison between the Chamber and its members. These individuals are professional and possess strong leadership skills. Ambassadors are representatives of a member organization in good standing. Ambassadors make a 12 month commitment to serve.
Responsibilities of Chamber Ambassadors
Ambassadors serve as the liaison between the Chamber staff and membership. Ambassadors attend Chamber functions and serve as “meeters and greeters” at events like: Chamber Coffees, Business After Hours, Ribbon Cuttings, Groundbreakings, and Grand Openings. They help raise awareness of Chamber activities and benefits to members and encourage meaningful and beneficial participation in the Chamber’s programs and events. Chamber Ambassadors also help to enlist new members in the Chamber and help new members be informed and involved. They also serve as goodwill representatives of the Chamber at various community events throughout the year.
Benefits of being an Ambassador
As a Chamber Ambassador you are recognized throughout the community as a valuable asset to the Chamber. An Ambassador’s attendance at various Chamber functions provides numerous opportunities for networking, allowing for possible new business contacts and developing relationships with fellow members and prospective Chamber members. Ambassadors will have opportunities to make presentations and display business cards and promotional material during Ambassador sponsored events. And, as an Ambassador, you will receive personal satisfaction for helping to enhance the community in which we live, work, and play.
